Bills Season Kickoff: Getting Your Home Tailgate-Ready
Bills season is here. Get your Buffalo home tailgate-ready — and clean again after — with tips from your local cleaning crew, A Couple Cleaners.

There's a specific kind of chaos that hits Western New York homes every August — grills getting dragged out of the garage, coolers dusted off, and every driveway from South Buffalo to Orchard Park turning into game-day headquarters for a few hours every Sunday. We love it. It's one of the best parts of living here.
But if you've ever hosted a tailgate — or let's be honest, cleaned up after one the next morning — you know it takes a toll on a house. Here's how we get ahead of it, and how we help our clients bounce back fast once the final whistle blows.
Before kickoff: the quick pre-game reset
You don't need a deep clean before every game, but a few things make a real difference when 15 people are about to walk through your door: wipe down and stock the bathroom (it'll get the most traffic of anywhere in the house), clear counters in the kitchen so there's actual room for the spread, and a quick vacuum of high-traffic areas like the living room and entryway beats scrambling mid-party.
After the game: what actually needs attention
The morning-after mess is real — but it's usually concentrated in a few predictable spots: kitchen counters and stovetop (wing sauce finds its way everywhere), carpets and rugs near the TV and food table, the bathroom again, and trash and recycling — obviously, but also the stuff that misses the bin.
When it's more than a quick tidy-up
If you're hosting regularly through the season — or you had the kind of Sunday where things got a little out of hand — that's exactly what a deep clean is for. We handle the grease, the ground-in stuff on the floors, the parts of game-day hosting that a quick wipe-down doesn't fix. A lot of our regular clients book us for a reset clean the Monday or Tuesday after a big home game, so the house is back to normal before the work week really gets going.
Whether you're hosting every Sunday through the season or just the occasional big one, we're a text away — Buffalo, West Seneca, Hamburg, Orchard Park, Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, and Grand Island.
